About Proprietor

Monalisha Baruah, a devoted mother of two, spent years dedicating her life to her family as a homemaker. Her days were filled with the joys and challenges of raising her children and managing her household. But deep within her, there was always a spark of ambition—a desire to create something of her own, to contribute to her family in a new way, and to inspire her children with her determination.
Living in Guwahati, a city known for its rich culture and diverse flavors, Monalisha often found herself experimenting with traditional recipes in her kitchen. Her pickles, in particular, were a family favorite. Friends and relatives would often praise her for the unique taste and quality of her homemade pickles, encouraging her to consider turning her passion into a business.
With the support of her husband and the encouragement of her mother-in-law, Monalisha decided to take the leap. Her mother-in-law, a seasoned cook herself, became her biggest ally in this journey. Together, they spent countless hours perfecting recipes, sourcing the freshest ingredients, and understanding the nuances of pickle-making. Her mother-in-law’s experience and guidance proved invaluable, helping Monalisha navigate the challenges of starting a business.
In 2021, Monalisha’s dream came to life with the launch of her very own pickle factory in Guwahati. She named it *Miha’s Achaar*, a tribute to the traditional recipes passed down through generations and the maternal figures who inspired her. The factory started small, but Monalisha’s dedication and entrepreneurial mindset quickly set it apart. She focused on maintaining the authenticity of her recipes while incorporating modern hygiene and packaging standards.
Word of mouth spread rapidly, and soon, *Miha’s Achaar* became a household name in Guwahati. Monalisha’s pickles, known for their rich flavors and high quality, found their way into local markets, grocery stores, and even online platforms. Her journey from a homemaker to a successful entrepreneur became an inspiration to many women in her community.
Monalisha’s story is not just about business success; it’s about the power of family support, perseverance, and believing in oneself. Her mother-in-law’s unwavering support and her own determination to balance her roles as a mother and an entrepreneur have made her a role model for many.
Today, Monalisha continues to grow her business while ensuring her children see her as a source of strength and inspiration. She often says, “It’s never too late to chase your dreams. With love, support, and hard work, anything is possible.”
